It’s fun for the family, young and old alike, at Genting - City of Entertainment. No visit to the resort will be complete without a thrilling experience at Genting’s multi-million theme parks - a fantasyland full of fun and adventure.
Whether you want a gentle ride or an adrenaline-pumping one, Genting will not disappoint. There are over 50 rides and attractions to choose from, literally climb walls, and enjoy totally different climates, from arctic to rainforest!
Outdoor Theme Park
The outdoor theme park has a whole slew of rides guaranteed to entertain every visitor. It’s fun for the whole family with rides like the Monorail, Tea Cup and Flying Jumbo; Boating and the Showboat Marine Fantasy on the artificial lake; Antique Cars, the Mini Train, Dinosaurland and Matahari, the outdoor Ferris wheel.
There’s fun for big kids too. With names like Spinner, Cyclone, Corkscrew, Turbo Drop, Super Toboggan and Flying Dragon, these rides are guaranteed to thrill no matter what your age. Corkscrew is the only double-loop roller coaster in Malaysia that takes you up to 90 feet, then sends you plunging. Not for the faint-hearted, definitely!

Or try the Turbo Drop - be one of a dozen people strapped to a tower, enjoy the scenery and G-force as you’re hoisted skywards, then the feeling of weightlessness as you are dropped down. “Eight wheels and no brakes” best describes Super Toboggan, a whirlwind of a ride on a narrow track which twists and turns, sending you downhill at almost supersonic speed.
Added to all this is the brand-new Flying Coaster - a roller coaster with a thrilling difference: you lie prone to experience it. Four riders can “fly” together, side by side, with an unobstructed view of drops, spirals and swooping turns!
Genting’s Water Park offers wild, wet, “Splash-tacular” fun. It may get a little chilly at 2,000 metres, but the heated Rainforest Splash Pool will keep the spirit of adventure warm, as you take on the Wave Pool, Action River, Big Bucket, Tornado Slide and more.
And if you find all these activities just too exciting for you, grab a little quiet time at the Cineplex in First World Plaza. But please be warned: its two cinema halls screen the latest box office releases - which may prove to be just as thrilling!

Indoor Theme Park
First World Theme Park is home to the Motion Master, a movie simulator with special 3-D effects, so hold on tightly to your seats for an experience you won’t easily forget.
The outdoors come indoors at First World Plaza, which has its own range of attractions that includes thrill rides, a bowling centre, snooker centre, carousel, Ferris wheel and monorail. Besides these, visitors can literally climb walls at the Genting X’pedition Wall Climbing, or get a taste of a totally different climate in Snow World.
Then move on to Funtasy World Arcade at Level 3, First World Theme Park in First World Plaza for more super-thrilling games of heroes and villains, adventure and drama, exploration and discovery. You can even pretend to be a firefighter (helmet and hose provided!) or strut your stuff on the dance floor with a virtual partner.
Snow World is as close as you’ll get to experiencing snow in the tropics, with temperatures as low as -5oC. Try the 90-metre toboggan slide or the kiddie snow slide, or have a snowball fight. The possibilities are endless.
At 2,000 metres, fun goes sky-high in more ways than one. Try out the Genting Sky Venture, a skydiving simulator that gives you the thrill of skydiving. The Sky Venture is the only wind tunnel in Asia which generates winds at the speed of 196 km/hr, and lets you freefall without having to strap on a parachute. Experienced Body Fly instructors make the event truly memorable.
