Situated about 100 metres from the Eden Centre on the beach side of Jalan Batu Ferringhi is one of the most popular hawker centres in the area. Long Beach Hawker Centre is a collection of a dozen or so stalls selling a variety of foods ranging from western pizzas & Italian fare, through to seafood, Chinese, Satays and desserts.
Prices are cheap, with meals starting from RM 3.50 and up to RM 30 for a grilled snapper. A dozen satay sticks will set you back RM 11 . The centre provides an eclectic mix of westerners and locals, with 80 tables seating up to 250 patrons. The centre really fires up after 7:00 PM and is by far the most popular night spot for food and drink along the beach front.

A dedicated drink stand staffed by merchandise clad drinks waiters keeps an eagle eye out for any customer with an empty glass. Prices for large mugs of Carlsberg & Tiger Beer start at RM 11 and help quench the thirst generated by the tropical heat.
The blue & gold "Tiger" girls are especially resplendent as they seem to float through the crowd, always ready with a smile and ever ready to "top up" the thirsty traveler.
The centre is covered open air style, with the various market stall around the perimeter. Your table is numbered and it is as simple as picking your food, giving the table number and having a drink whilst you wait.

A short time later your food arrives and you can enjoy the dining atmosphere in the centre. A row of shop stalls at the rear (beach end) of the centre sells DVD's, CD's and you can even get a massage if you wish.
This hawker centre is located within easy walking distance of all the major hotels and is heartily recommended by the Hotelzasia E-Traveler. Rating: Food quality - 8, Value for money - 9.
